England’s wind power growth ahead of predictions

A new report from the British Wind Energy Association predicts that England will get 5% of its electricity from on-land wind farms by 2010 –twice as much as had been predicted earlier.

Anyone who has spent anytime on the British isles will be unsurprised to learn that windy Scotland is slated to get much of the new turbine development.
