Today, wind farms offer one of the most promising solutions to the fossil fuel crunch and together with solar energy can most likely be the solution to the world’s energy hunger. Still, wind farms technology remains to be in its infant stages and more work will still have to be done to see the technology take off as a viable and large scale source of energy to feed the world’s hungry commercial, industrial and residential establishments.</p>
<p>At its most basic, a wind farm is a collection of mechanized “windmills” that have a turbine in the middle of the installation to convert mechanical energy to power.
